Isopropyl alcohol ( 異丙醇 )

  Clinical findings (1)
 
Methanol: (12-18 hrs onset)
CNS depression Visual disturbances
Abd pain/ Nausea Retinal edema
Optic disk hyperemia Headache
Seizures Black feces
Anion & Osmolalgaps Metabolic acidosis

Ethanol
Slurred speech Disinhibited behavior
CNS depression Altered coordination
Anion & Osmolal gaps Respiratory depression

Ethylene glycol
Stage 1< 12 hrs CNS: CNS depression, slurred speech, ataxia, nystagmus, convulsions, coma, decreased light reflex, decreased visual acuity, optic disk blurring, papilledema
Stage 2
12-24 hrs
Cardiopulmonary: HTN, tachycardia, pulmonary edema, hypocalcemia, dysrhythmia, myositis.
Stage 3
24-72 hrs

Renal: Flank pain, ATN, ARF, hematuria, protenuria,

Isopropylalcohol
CNS depression
Respiratory depression
Hypotension Ketonemia/ ketonuria
Nausea/ Vomiting Acute tubular necrosis
Significant osmolal gap
No anion gap
Rhabdomyolysis
