先天性睪丸發育不完全、更年期障礙、前列腺肥大症、性腺機能減退，經臨床徵象及實驗室檢驗確認因睪固酮缺乏之男性生殖腺功能不足症(hypogonadism)的替代治療

肌肉注射，每次200-400mg，每3-4週注射一次。

| 禁忌症 |
心臟病、腎臟病及骨癌症已轉移之患者應慎重投藥或禁用之。

| Adverse Reactions |
Acne, menstrual problems (amenorrhea), virilism, breast soreness, epididymitis, priapism, bladder irritability, flushing, edema, excitation, aggressive behavior, sleeplessness, anxiety, mental depression, headache, hirsutism, nausea, vomiting, GI irritation, prostatic hyperplasia, prostatic carcinoma, impotence, testicular atrophy, hepatic dysfunction 。

Monitoring |
Periodic liver function tests, PSA, cholesterol, hemoglobin and hematocerit, radiologic examination of wrist and hand every 6 months (when using in prepubertal children)。
