Mechanism of action | Aspirin is a more potent inhibitor of both prostaglandin synthesis and platelet aggregation than its other salicylic derivatives due to the acetyl group on the aspirin molecule, which inactivates cyclooxygenase via acetylation.

| 衛服部核准適應症
MOHW approved indications |
退燒、止痛(緩解頭痛、牙痛、咽喉痛、關節痛、神經痛、肌肉酸痛、月經痛)。

| Dose |
成人及18歲以上:
(1)每次 1 錠，發燒或需要時服(使)用，若症狀持續，則每4-6 小時可重複服(使)用。每24小時內不可超過5次。
(2)飯後半小時內服用為宜。

懷孕分級

1.懷孕:懷孕 28 週以上的婦女禁用

| 禁忌症 |
1.曾因本藥成分引起過敏的人。
2.有蠶豆症的人。
3.懷孕28週以上的婦女。
4. 18歲以下之水痘或流行性感冒症狀之解除，因可能引發罕見但嚴重的雷氏症候群。

胃腸不適、胃腸出血、皮膚出疹、出血傾向、氣喘、耳鳴不適症狀。

監測
Monitoring |
CBC, chemistry profile, blood pressure, fecal occult blood test, liver function; after initiation of NSAID therapy and every 6-12 months thereafter, more frequently in patients at risk for hepatic, renal, cardiac, or gastrointestinal toxicity (eg, age greater than 60 years, high-dose NSAID therapy, concurrent corticosteroids or anticoagulants, history of cardiac, renal, or hepatic disease)
